Looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact rather than just firefight breakdowns?

We're supporting a fast-growing manufacturing business investing heavily in both its people and technology. This is an opportunity to join a large, modern production site with ongoing investment, continuous improvement projects, and long-term expansion plans already in motion.

This role would suit a Multi-Skilled Engineer looking to join a business where engineering is valued, improvements are encouraged, and there's genuine opportunity to develop long term.

What's In It For You?

  • Join a business that's heavily investing in its site, systems, and engineering function
  • Be part of a large engineering team where support and teamwork matter
  • Get involved in continuous improvement projects rather than purely reactive maintenance
  • Work on a modern, automated production site with ongoing upgrades and investment
  • Genuine long-term progression opportunities as the business continues to grow
  • A fast-paced environment where engineering is valued and your input makes a difference
  • Exposure to new technology, projects, and reliability-focused engineering practices
  • Stable shift pattern offering good work/life balance with regular time off

The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently across a busy, fast-paced manufacturing operation. You'll be involved in reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, continuous improvement work, and reliability-focused engineering.
You'll be responsible for:

  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production machinery
  • Planned preventative maintenance across the site
  • Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities, machinery upgrades, projects, and site improvements
  • Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime

This is a hands-on role where your input will be valued, and where you'll have the opportunity to contribute towards ongoing site improvements and engineering developments.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Conveyors, packaging machinery and ancillary equipment
  • Automated and PLC-controlled production machinery
  • Continuous improvement projects and engineering upgrades
  • A site actively investing in new systems and technology

What They're Looking For

  • Qualified engineer with strong Electrical and Mechanical skills (preferably Electrically Biased)
  • Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, packaging or automated production environments
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Someone who thrives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

If you're looking for a role where you can develop your skills, influence improvements, and be part of a business investing heavily into its future, this is well worth a conversation.
